A community seeking god's will
Mount Olive has been “Seeking God’s Will” since September 1930. In those 80+ years, it has been the goal of Mount Olive to reach Richmond County with the saving message of Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday morning service begins with a prayer in the Sanctuary at 9:40am. Sunday School for all ages at 10am. The Sunday morning worship service begins at 11am, in the sanctuary. During the service, children ages 3 through third grade are dismissed to children's church. We also have a nursery available for newborns to children the age of two years old for your convenience. Children are always welcomed to stay with their parents during the service.
Our Sunday evening service begins at 6pm located in the sanctuary. This is an informal time of discussion and bible study. This is also where we can discuss how to apply what we learned into our everyday lives.
You are welcomed to join our Body of Believers at Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Pastor Bryan blackwell
Rev Bryan Blackwell currently serves as the Interim Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Pastor Bryan has served churches across North Carolina since 1996 along with his wife Jane. Together Bryan and Jane have five wonderful children. While calling Salisbury, NC home, Pastor Bryan currently resides four days a week in Rockingham. The transition has been fruitful and natural since Pastor Bryan previously served Mount Olive as Senior Pastor from 2012-2016. He would love to meet and grow with you and your family.
